- Choose a floor plan and we can customize the plan to meet your needs
- Review prices and sketches
- Sign a contingency contract
- Visit our design studio and see features in your home
Step 2 - Process Permits
- Select your finishes at our design studio
- Process building permits
- Disconnect utilities
Step 3 - Pre-Construction Meeting
- Confirm your selections
- Review your building and grading plan
- Verify layouts – such as kitchen, electric and HVAC
Step 4 - Pre-Trade Orientation
- Confirm locations of heating and air conditioning registers
- Confirm locations of outlets and lights before pulling wires
- Confirm cabinet selections, locations, and layouts before cabinets are ordered.
- Review shop drawings specific to your home (ex: interior trim and built-ins)
Step 5 - Pre-Drywall Orientation
- Review the quality of materials and workmanship behind your walls
- Verify installation of optional features
Step 6 - Quality Inspection (Straight A’s on Quality!)
- Area Service Manager conducts a rigorous pre-inspection
- Fine tuning and re-inspection
Step 7 - New Home Orientation
- Verify quality standards throughout the home
- Review the use of the systems within the home
- Review warranty and service procedures
Steps 8 - Re-Visit and Settlement
- Verify completion of any open items from your New Home Orientation
- Turnover keys, Use &Occupancy Permit and Other Important Documents
Step 9 - Warranty and Follow up
- Two Month Follow-up - We review your warranty coverage, ensure your home meets warranty guidelines, and address and repair warranty items
- Ten Month Follow-up - We review your warranty coverage, ensure your home meets warranty guidelines, and address and repair warranty items
- Two Year Systems Warranty – We cover electrical systems, wiring, plumbing pipes and your heating and air conditioning ductwork
- Ten Year Structural – Designated load bearing elements of your home are covered under the structural warranty for a period of ten years
- Manufacturer – Many items installed in your new home are backed by a separate manufacturer’s warranty, including kitchen appliances, roof shingles, HVAC equipment, and plumbing fixtures.
